After a chance meeting at A MAZE in Berlin, we have now been working with Mira and Tanja for more than a year. Tick Tock was our first full-fledge mobile release hitting both iOS and Android alongside the PC launch in March 2019. It has subsequently won the Google Play Award for Most Inventive app!
As the marketing team for Other Tales Interactive we worked with them on all aspects of the campaign, including PR, Influencer outreach, media planning, Steam page optimisation, trailer scripting and community growth.
Kicking off a beta over Christmas 2018, a time of year we knew families would be looking for collaborative games, the recruitment phase included starting a new Discord server, PR and active outreach to streamers and YouTubers. By the end of the beta, the Discord had grown to 400 users and the IMGUR gallery we’d published at the start of the beta had over 100,000 views.
At launch Tick Tock: A Tale for Two had a 2-for-1 offer on Steam which we maximised by including it in all comms and branding. Now the game enjoys a “Very Positive” review aggregate on Steam from 800+ reviews.
We are now actively planning the Nintendo Switch launch, due to in 2019!
