Whilst initially brought on to help Skyhook Games improve its website, we were later invited to help the team with community management, managing its social channels whilst the studio launched Lawn Mowing Simulator (LMS). This included a market analysis to better understand where LMS sat in the burgeoning “simulator” market, and growing the game’s Twitter following from 400 to 2500 passionate fans.
Following launch, we raised Skyhook’s industry profile, running a dedicated B2B PR campaign that saw the studio featured in venerable trade titles GamesIndustry.biz and MCV/Develop. Furthermore, bespoke blog posts we wrote for Skyhook’s website were picked up and reported in the media, including in GameSpot, NME, and Metro.
Though the content focus and creation has changed over time, a well placed meme continues to go down well!
We supported Skyhook in launching Lawn Mowing Simulator’s first DLC, Ancient Britain, and the game’s submission to the Xbox Game Pass library, all whilst continuing to provide community support and fan engagement across the game’s social media channels.
