After a chance meeting in Berlin, we ended up working with Other Tales Interactive for more than a year and Tick Tock: A Tale for Two was our first fully-fledged mobile release. Acting as the marketing team for Other Tales Interactive, we worked in harmony on all aspects of the launch campaign. This included managing the PR, influencer outreach, media planning, Steam page optimisation, trailer scripting, and community growth.
The project kicked off with a beta launch over Christmas 2018, creating a new Discord server to support the title, run a PR campaign that targeted key games media, and undertake influencer outreach to appropriate streamers and YouTubers. By the end of the beta, the Discord server community had grown to 400 members and the IMGUR gallery we’d published at the start of the beta period had over 100,000 views.
Today, the game enjoys a “Very Positive” review aggregate on Steam from 7000+ reviews, and it went on to win the Google Play Award for Most Inventive app.
