Joining WolfEye, our goal was to run a PR campaign to get everyone talking about the studio. After the initial announcement, subsequent investment announce, and curating interviews with tactical press, we coordinated a news push that hit the likes of IGN, Gamespot, and VG24/7, and secured 2000 Twitter followers in less than a month.
In the run up to release, we produced livestreams on WolfEye Studio’s Twitch channel. These included competitions, prizes, and interviews with key members of the team and live music performances, all of which were were later edited and archived on YouTube channels, with clips shared across socials.
We supported Devolver Digital with promoting and recruiting to foster a tight-knit, dedicated closed beta community, helping the developers with early quality of life tweaks. The community got the chance to win exclusive prizes and special AMAs with Weird West’s team.
Thanks to our continued social media posts and community engagement, Weird West’s Twitter account now boasts over 10K followers.
